"I have always struggled maintaining a steady weight and size. I used to use food to deal with stress. I like the saying "break-ups make bodybuilders". After a few rough break ups, I finally decided to put the effort into myself that I had been putting into other people. Instead of food, I turned to the gym for therapy. I have never been so confident in myself. It not only brought out the physical strength in me, but it showed me how strong I am mentally and emotionally. I am so glad I decided to start this journey!"congratulations Jaimi...keep up the good work!

"In 2008, when I graduated high school I weighed 260lbs and was told by my doctor I had a high chance of type 2 diabetes. I decided the summer before college would be a good time for a change. I began how everyone does, by copying work outs from magazines and spending hours on a treadmill. But over time I started to enjoy researching how I could change my body. I then went to the university at buffalo to study exercise science and sports psychology. I learned how to loose fat and gain muscle the right way. At this point I had lost over a 100lbs and it was time to put on some muscle. When...

"Being an athlete you know what your meant to be, what your body can do and where you should be at. When gaining 87lbs pregnant and reaching 215lbs, I knew it was now or never. Always a basketball player and overall athlete, I said to myself I can not stay this way forever, even being a mother now. I want to be fit and healthy. Seeing a good friend, a pro in the fitness world, I set my mind on wanting to accomplish a fitness competition. I started running, and running, and running and weight was dropping. I then said ok, maybe running is now my thing. I set goals, miles upon miles and...

"Most of my life I was the heavyset kid. After being hit by a car at 10 I settled in front of a TV and rarely left. I gave up sports and that led to giving up on myself as I only got slower and heavier.I didn't decide to grab control of my life until my Uncle Darrell died at 58 of a heart attack. That shook me and I knew I had to find a grasp on health or I would be the next member of my family who had health issues.I started walking and learned to run. I picked up weights and slowly have learned to develop my body.It has been a 120# loss as of late. I weighed in at 355 and have made...

"Growing up, I was always a bigger child. My earliest memories in sports include coaches telling me that I was too heavy to play. Despite this, I continued to be active in all different kinds of sports. When I was young I played recreational soccer. Once I was old enough, I got involved in school sports. My first sport was field hockey, I had to take a physical in order to play JV in 8th grade. I could only pass the running portion and not the pull up requirement so I was told I could play but I would have to be goalie. I played goalie from 8th grade to 12th grade and loved it. I also...

Heather Kuepper has overcome long odds to even be alive, not to mention...thriving, due in part to finding the inspiration and motivation to step out from her fears and embrace a healthy lifestyle where she has not only shaped her body, but shaped her destiny! Here's Heather's Transformation Story in her own words:"Thanks for letting me share my story with you. I’ll try and keep it short:I have always secretly struggled with weight, but it was most difficult for me after I had my daughter in October 2009. I had a hard time adjusting to my “new body”. I eventually...

"In late October of 2014, I was standing in front of my bathroom mirror wondering who the person was starring back at me. I knew I was a good Mom/Aunt and I had a very loving home for my girls as well as my two nieces. But beyond that I was lost. I was caught in a never ending cycle of ponytails and fast food. Over the years I have traded my bikini in for sweat pants, being athletic and 130 lbs for 295 lbs of pregnancy weight and soda. I was supposed to be getting married but I couldn't wrap my head around it. I had no positive adults in my life and somehow I surrounded myself with...

"A lot of competitors post a before and after picture. I don't feel I have a simple before and after story. The chapters of Kids, Lupus, thyroid cancer and the toll they all took on my health & body were a lifetime in the making. But the chapters written with Liz Bordonaro, Sebastian Zona and No Limitz are definitely the turning point of this book! What I could write on social media simply can't express the gratitude, respect and love I have for them. Not to mention they are simply the very best at their craft!! Liz Bordonaro is truly one of those rare people that changes...

"When I was 15, I had a major surgery for scoliosis. The surgery took 7 hours and I had to learn to walk again. From that point on, I made 'working out' part of my life. I started to surround myself with like-minded people. At 18 years old, I was leg pressing 300 lbs. I've gone through many struggles in my lifetime and have found that the gym is my savior! I started working at the RAC in 2013 and fell in love with the thought of competing, but was never in the right financial or mental state of mind. I finally have the opportunity, and I am making the most of every moment. My...
