"I, Carlos Serrano was weighing in at 200 plus pounds, had high blood pressure, high cholesterol and my liver wasn't doing that well. So by doctors orders and telling myself I don't want to feel fatigued and tired all the time, I decided to walk into the boxing gym in 2013 on my birthday and never looked back. I changed my bad eating habits cut a lot down on boozing. I started eating healthy, lots of greens, I'd stayed away from fried foods, sugars, bad carbs etc...I won my 1st amateur boxing match in March 2015 and I must say boxing has changed my life. I continue to train...

"My name is Katie. I’ve lost 80+ pounds but I have gained so much during my journey. If I had to pinpoint one thing that has changed the most, it would be my confidence. I don’t know what the purpose of my life was before. I was simply just living, trying to impress my friends, trying to fit in and living a life not for myself. It didn’t hit me until I had to get my gallbladder out in January of 2014. I was in the hospital for 7 days. 2 surgeries later I awoke with purpose. I was tired of living my life for everyone else. It was hard, I was always tired. I was a full...

"I lived with depression throughout middle and high school. It made me physically and mentally weak, where getting out of bed was the hardest task of the day. It controlled me and my body, and influenced my decisions in life. But then one day, I got into a serious car accident. At 18 years of age, my mother had to help me bathe, and it made me feel so...useless. I looked at myself in the mirror with such hate and disgust. But a very faint voice inside my head slipped through and told me that I can change what I see and how I feel. It told me to go to the gym. It look a long time til I...

"In August 2014, I weighed 284lbs and today I weighed in at 171. The biggest problem I had with dieting was thinking about the diet food and everything I couldn't have... and obbessing over it. I have tried every diet and have had gastric bypass surgery several times. 2 kids and 2 marriages later I was turning 50 and said enough was enough. I stopped dieding and got food off my mind. Then my body told me what I needed and when I needed it. I listened and I never gave up."

"After living my life as an athletic and in shape girl, I struggled what had become my reality. Through pregnancy and poor habits I found myself uncomfortable, unrecognizable, and ashamed at nearly 200 lbs. I had never needed to know how to lose weight and I struggled with a private depression I kept very secret. I can't pinpoint one moment when I knew I needed to change my eating and fitness habits but I know there was a moment in which I made it my mission to try and regain my health and wellness. Through at home workouts, portion control, and better choices I started losing weight...

"My name is Vicki Barone, and I've been a certified personsal trainer for about 10 years now. Unfortunately, through my pregnancies, I gained a lot of weight due to poor diet, lack of exercise and depression because I was in an unhealthy marriage. Once I had my second child, and healed from my second c section, I dialed in, got my eating bsck on track and started running and getting back to the gum with the help from my mom. My highest weight was 218 with both of my kids, and I am now 140, which is 10lbs less than pre baby, and tons more muscle! I recertified through NASM, and...

"My starting weight and at my heaviest was 256 August 14th, 2014. I played football throughout high school and I always thought it was acceptable to be heavy for my positions. I began to think I should become healthier and stronger for the upcoming season. My senior year of football I weighed 235. I started to look into what I wanted to do after high school and the military was always something I wanted to do, but I would have to lose a lot of weight to qualify. I told myself after the season was over I would lose the weight and I did I am currently at 194. People always ask how I did it...

"At 7 years old, the doctor told me that I had to lose 10 pounds in order to be at a healthy weight. By the time I was a junior in high school, those numbers had skyrocketed. I was 16 years old, and weighed 240 pounds. I knew that I had to do something, but I didn't exactly know what. It was always a common joke in middle school that Kylie was on Weight Watchers or the Special K challenge. Any fad diet you can think of.... You name it, I had tried it. And I was only 16. The middle of my junior year I decided something had to be done. I started going to my local gym, and my first day...

"May 21, 2012 I woke up and finally told myself I would do Turbofire (a Beachbody workout program) until I felt like me again and lost a hundred pounds. You see since August 1998 when my father suddenly died I went into a depression I tried to hide. I had lost previous loved ones tragically and I had some previous issues I hadn't dealt with and this on top was too much for me. I went through the motions of life trying to hide my pain but to me my weight gain was a direct reflection of my pain. I kept adding weight to my six foot frame over the years as I got married and had kids. I...
